Every student should be encourage to learn using different techniques, some techniques may be better than others, follow the 10 steps for learning English as a second language.
It makes sense to me. If a child wishes to learn, he or she won't necessarily require of a professor for everything, but he or she can, at some point of his or her learning road, be his or her own professor. Now, I guess, what is left for us, educators, is to find better ways to appeal students interest in knowledge. Methods shall vary, and will not be effective on everyone, but at least on some... on a small amount of civilians.
